Our Humble Beginnings

Founded in 1985 by Mr. Fawzan, ALANGKARA began as a small family workshop in Panadura, Sri Lanka. With just a single bench and a dream, Fawzan started creating exquisite jewellery pieces that quickly gained recognition for their exceptional craftsmanship.

What started as a passion project soon blossomed into a respected name in Sri Lanka's jewellery industry. Our commitment to quality, attention to detail, and genuine customer relationships helped us grow from a local workshop to a nationally recognized brand.

Today, while we've expanded our operations and embraced modern techniques, we remain true to our roots. Every piece of jewellery we create still carries the same dedication and passion that Mr. Fawzan poured into his first creation.

The Beginning

ALANGKARA was founded by Mr. Fawzan in a small workshop in Panadura, focusing on traditional Sri Lankan jewellery designs.

1995

First Showroom

Opened our first retail showroom in Panadura, expanding our reach and introducing modern jewellery designs alongside traditional pieces.

2005
